In 2009, repsol.com redesigned the corporate information section, incorporating web accessibility criteria. It is currently undergoing an audit process.
In 2010, Repsol redesigned the Products and Services section.
The redesign was undertaken and defined in accordance with the phases established in User-Centered Design (UCD)methodology. By following the specifications in the ISO/IEC 9126 standard, it has enabled the participation of end users through real testing. This has made it possible to stay ahead of future problems with interaction and to solve them based on usability standards and user experience.
In addition, this adaptation was defined in accordance with the standard UNE 139803:2004, "Computer Applications for Disabled People.Accessibility Requirements for Web Content", which establishes the characteristics that must be met by the content available through Web technologies on the Internet, so that they can be used by most people, including disabled people and the elderly, independently or with the relevant technical assistance.
With this, certain accessibility and Web semantics criteria have been implemented to adapt the section to the AA level of WCAG 1.0 and 2.0. Some of the most important of all these criteria are the following:
